The Sonic lodge caters for all recording needs with dedicated recording spaces for live bands, vocal recording, mixing and mastering, housing a selection of state-of-the art-analogue and digital equipment. There is also a selection of instruments available for use upon request.

Dedicated audio workstation running Cubase 6.5, Wavelab 6, various softsynths and RME hardware, RME, focusright, Joe Meek, preamps, Soundtracks vintage 48 channel inline mixer and much more.

Microphones including Neumann U89, Telefunken AK47, Earthworks TC25's, Octava MK012s, SCT2000 valve condenser and a selection from Rode, Shure and AKG.

Production
We has a strong emphasis on music production with in house producers experienced in many styles of music from Folk, Rock, Funk, Jazz and soul to hip-hop and electronica. We can provide full instrumentation for your music and have access to many of Edinburgh’s best session musicians.
